On Tuesday, May 6th, Driven Magazine was honored to attend an intimate and thought-provoking evening at the ArtVentureNFT Gallery in Dubai Design District (D3), where art and psychology converged in a powerful dialogue between Mexican artist Leonardo Partida Prieto and Dubai-based psychologist Dr. Jana Habson.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of contemporary art, the evening unfolded as a deep exploration of how emotions are not just felt, but translated, into brushstrokes, color palettes, silence, and vulnerability. Prieto shared personal reflections on the emotional roots of his work, while Dr. Habson offered psychological insights on how art becomes both a mirror and a bridge—helping individuals process trauma, celebrate joy, and navigate inner conflict.
Guests from across Dubai’s creative and wellness communities gathered in an atmosphere that was both intellectually stimulating and emotionally resonant. Attendees were not merely observers, but participants—invited to reflect on their own emotional landscapes and the ways they express, repress, or reshape them.
Dr. Habson, founder of MCM Conscious Mental Wellness, emphasized the increasing need for spaces that merge art and emotional wellbeing, especially in fast-paced urban environments. Her clinic’s mission providing accessible, compassionate mental health care to individuals and corporations alike, felt beautifully aligned with the event’s ethos.

As the evening came to a close, it left behind more than an impression, it sparked questions, connections, and a renewed appreciation for the unseen dialogue between our inner world and the art we create or consume.
At Driven Magazine, we believe in highlighting stories where emotion, creativity, and purpose meet and this event was a perfect reflection of that mission.
