Through her platform, Farheen connects with a growing audience that appreciates honest reviews, nostalgic recipes, and the delicate balance between modern life and traditional roots.

The Story Behind Farheen Dubai Diaries

Farheen’s platform began as a very personal journey that gradually evolved into a digital community.

“My platform, Farheen_Dubai_Diaries, is a lifestyle and food space where I share recipes, product experiences, family moments, and snippets of everyday life in Dubai,” she explains. “What started as a simple way of sharing my love for cooking gradually turned into a creative outlet where I could connect with people who enjoy food, home life, and authentic recommendations.”

Her journey into blogging happened naturally. She began by sharing cooking videos and recipes from her own kitchen, and slowly people began engaging with her content, requesting more recipes and asking for her opinions on products and experiences.

“That encouragement motivated me to grow the platform into something more meaningful,” she says.

A Mother’s Motivation

The roots of Farheen Dubai Diaries date back to 2013, when Farheen welcomed her youngest child.

“The journey began back in 2013, when my youngest child was born. As she started transitioning to solid foods, I became very conscious about what I was feeding her,” Farheen recalls.

This moment sparked a deep interest in preparing healthy, homemade meals for children, focusing on balanced nutrition and wholesome ingredients. She began experimenting with different recipes, including multigrain and nutritious homemade foods, eventually documenting and sharing them online.

“What began as a personal journey of feeding my children healthy meals slowly evolved into a blogging platform,” she explains.

Through her content, Farheen hopes to deliver an important message:
“Nutrition begins at home, and simple, wholesome food prepared with care can make a big difference in a family’s health and lifestyle.”

Choosing What to Share

Farheen’s content spans several themes food, skincare, lifestyle, product reviews, and everyday experiences, but her guiding principle remains authenticity.

“I usually share things that I genuinely use, experience, or enjoy in my daily life,” she says. “Authenticity is very important to me.”

Rather than promoting content for the sake of trends, she focuses on recommendations that she truly believes in.

“If I try a product, recipe, or service and truly like it, I feel comfortable recommending it to my audience,” she explains. “I believe people appreciate honesty, so I focus on sharing content that can actually be useful, relatable, and meaningful to my followers.”

Balancing Career, Motherhood, and Creativity

Managing multiple roles is perhaps one of the most defining aspects of Farheen’s journey.

As a Technical Project Manager in a leading bank, she is responsible for managing complex initiatives and leading a team of more than 50 members, roles that demand leadership, precision, and strategic thinking.

At the same time, she is a mother of three and an active content creator.

“Balancing everything is definitely one of the biggest challenges,” Farheen admits. “Managing my professional responsibilities, my passion for content creation, and my family life requires careful planning and prioritization.”

Yet for Farheen, success lies in organization and perspective.

“For me, it is all about organizing my time well and ensuring that none of these important areas are compromised. With the right mindset and planning, it becomes possible to manage work, family, and creativity in a balanced way.”

The Content That Resonates Most

Among the many types of content she shares, traditional family recipes tend to generate the strongest engagement from her followers.

“The content that receives the most engagement from my audience is authentic, family-oriented traditional recipes that reflect my roots,” she says.

Whenever she shares nostalgic dishes from her childhood or recipes from her cultural background, her audience responds with enthusiasm.

“Food has a deep emotional connection,” Farheen explains. “Many people relate to those memories of home-cooked meals and traditional flavors. That emotional connection is what brings the most engagement.”

Challenges of Content Creation

Like many digital creators, Farheen faced challenges, particularly when it comes to maintaining consistency.

“One of the biggest challenges in content creation is consistency, especially because social media algorithms favor creators who post regularly,” she explains.

However, Farheen made a conscious decision not to let numbers define her motivation.

“For me, numbers such as views, followers, or engagement were never the main motivation. I chose to create content when I genuinely had the time and space for it.”

Balancing a full-time career and family life sometimes means stepping back from posting regularly.

“Since I balance content creation with a full-time career and family life, there are times when other responsibilities take priority,” she says. “I focus on sharing content whenever I have the time and flexibility, and that approach has helped me maintain authenticity in what I do.”

A Memorable Collaboration

Among her professional collaborations, one experience stands out.

“One collaboration that stands out for me was with Indolite,” she recalls.

The partnership gave her the opportunity to cook in a professional culinary environment alongside experienced chefs.

“For someone like me who has never formally attended culinary school, being able to cook in one of Dubai’s top culinary institutes alongside professional chefs and well-known food creators felt like a dream come true.”

The experience offered a glimpse into the professional culinary world and became an important moment in her journey as a creator.

Advice for Aspiring Bloggers

For women who want to enter the world of blogging or content creation, Farheen emphasizes preparation and patience.

“My advice would be to stay consistent and do proper research before posting content,” she says.

Understanding your audience and identifying your niche are essential steps.

“When you identify the type of content people connect with, it becomes easier to create meaningful and engaging posts,” she explains. “Consistency and patience are key factors in building a loyal audience.”

But above all, she stresses authenticity.

“Most importantly, stay authentic and focus on sharing what you truly enjoy.”

Inspiration from Real Life

Farheen’s inspiration comes from the very life she lives every day.

“My biggest inspiration comes from my own daily journey, the challenges and responsibilities of balancing professional work, family life, and my passion for content creation.”

Through her platform, she aims to show the reality of life rather than a perfect image.

“Life is not always perfect; it has ups and downs,” she says. “As a woman managing multiple roles raising children, working professionally, and pursuing a passion, I want to share that reality.”

Her experiences, struggles, and resilience continue to motivate her to share her journey with others who may relate to it.

The Woman Who Inspired Her Most

Perhaps the most powerful inspiration in Farheen’s life is her mother.

“One of the most inspiring stories in my life is the story of my mother,” Farheen shares.

Her mother single-handedly raised six children, instilling strong values, discipline, faith, and education despite limited support and resources.

“She did this without much help or support, yet she raised us with strong principles, faith, discipline, and education.”

Farheen describes her mother as her greatest inspiration.

“She proved that a strong and determined woman can build and guide an entire generation.”

Her mother’s journey serves as a reminder that raising children is about teaching values, resilience, and responsibility, lessons Farheen hopes to carry forward in her own family.

A Lesson in Authentic Growth

Looking back at her journey, Farheen says one of the most valuable lessons she has learned through content creation is the importance of authenticity and patience.

Growth, she believes, takes time, and building genuine trust with an audience is far more meaningful than chasing quick success.

“I am deeply grateful to my followers and supporters who continue to encourage me in this journey,” she says.

Their support, she adds, is what motivates her to keep sharing her experiences, passions, and everyday moments, one story at a time.
