In the sprawling landscapes of Edo state , Nigeria, Linda Turner’s journey began as the 7th child in a close-knit family of ten siblings. Growing up amidst challenges, her path was forged by the grit and determination of her parents, whose resilience remains a profound influence on her life.

Today, Linda Turner is much more than the CEO of Jat Holdings—a company with interests spanning real estate, interior design, fashion, and hospitality. She is a mother, a wife, a humanitarian, and, most importantly, a beacon of hope for countless individuals. Her NGO, the Linda Hope Initiative, operates on a singular belief: compassion is not optional; it is essential.

Roots of Resilience

Turner’s early years were marked by personal sacrifice and the silent struggles of her parents. Her mother, in particular, stood as a symbol of strength, working tirelessly to make ends meet. However, it was the tragic loss of her father that reshaped her worldview. “I watched my mother cry herself to sleep, her burden heavy but her resolve unbroken,” she recalls. “It taught me that pain can either weaken us or awaken us.”

Turner’s NGO focuses on the most vulnerable—elderly women, widows, underprivileged children, and survivors of gender-based violence. Whether it’s distributing food during Operation Feed the Poor or hosting workshops on cyber safety and gender violence, her initiatives reflect an enduring commitment to societal change.

A Life of Service

Linda’s humanitarian ventures are complemented by her entrepreneurial accomplishments. Under her leadership, Jat Holdings has grown into a conglomerate of industries. But her passion lies in her advocacy work. As a survivor of domestic violence, Turner has dedicated her voice to speaking out for victims, fostering awareness, and championing laws that protect the vulnerable.

In 2021, the Linda Hope Initiative launched the Adopt a Grandparent project, where the elderly are provided consistent care, including food, medical supplies, and companionship. This program, alongside economic empowerment initiatives for women, embodies Turner’s mission to uplift those often overlooked.

Inspiration for Generations

Through her platform, Inspiration with Linda, Turner shares life lessons on perseverance, faith, and leadership. “I believe everyone has the power to rise above their circumstances,” she says. “My goal is to ignite that belief in as many people as possible.”
