In a world where fashion often moves faster than meaning, Noor has made a conscious decision to slow down, to listen, to reflect, and to design with purpose. From her studio in the UAE, the Jordanian founder of Noor Designs and The Future activewear brand is crafting something far more enduring than trends: she’s stitching together cultures, identities, and futures, one garment at a time.

Noor is not your typical designer. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations and brings the heart of a global thinker to her work. For her, a piece of cloth is never just fabric it’s a language. “Fashion can connect us,” she says. “It can challenge how we see each other. It can celebrate where we come from.”
Her collections from embroidered abayas that echo world cultures to activewear that blends sustainability with modesty aren’t just worn. They’re lived in. They move, breathe, and speak.

Where Fashion Meets Diplomacy
Noor’s journey into fashion began at an unlikely crossroads: Expo 2020. Amid a flurry of global innovation and cross-cultural dialogue, she saw a gap and a need. “There wasn’t enough representation of modest fashion that was both functional and culturally expressive,” she recalls. “I saw an opportunity to create something meaningful.”
That “something” became Noor Designs, launched in 2020. Rooted in her belief that fabric can be a diplomatic tool, the brand draws on global patterns and silhouettes while staying anchored in Arab aesthetics. At its heart lies the concept of “light” fashion as a force for illumination, cultural unity, and feminine pride.

The Birth of The Future
In 2025, Noor expanded her vision with The Future, a premium activewear line designed to meet the needs of modern, modest women. But this wasn’t just about leggings or breathable materials, it was a response to years of research on fabric sustainability, cultural sensitivity, and performance design.
“I wanted women to feel empowered, physically and emotionally, in movement,” Noor explains. “To know that they can embrace an active lifestyle while staying true to their identity.”
The Future is built on fabrics like VersaBlend, a tailored mix of sustainable and non-sustainable materials that strike a careful balance between performance and eco-consciousness. Collections are designed not just for the gym, but for life: flexible, elegant, modest, and deeply intentional.
A New Definition of Strength
For Noor, strength is not loud. It’s consistent. It’s in every woman who chooses movement over fear, authenticity over pressure. “We have women in our region redefining what strength looks like,” she says. “My designs are here to support that , not change it, not shrink it — but amplify it.”
That mission was never clearer than the day she received a message from a customer who wore The Future activewear to her first public sports event. “She told me she finally felt seen and supported,” Noor shares. “That’s when I knew this was bigger than clothing.”

“One Move Together”
At the center of Noor’s work lies a powerful motto: One Move Together. It’s more than a slogan — it’s a philosophy. “Change isn’t individual. It’s collective,” she explains. “Women supporting women, across cultures, across disciplines that’s where transformation lives.”
Her work fuses that spirit into every detail, the silhouette of a wrap, the fabric of a sleeve, the name of a collection. It’s a call to rise — not alone, but side by side.

Looking Ahead: The Fabric of the Future
What’s next for Noor? More collaborations with women’s groups. A growing line of sustainable performance wear. And a continued exploration of how fashion can be a force for social and cultural connection.
But perhaps her most important message is this: stay true. “I design everything myself, from sketch to final stitch. I run the business, I source, I create. It’s not always easy, but it’s personal. That’s what makes it real.”
To emerging designers, she offers both encouragement and challenge: “Stay rooted in your vision. Innovate relentlessly. And above all, listen, not just to trends, but to your community.”

In Her Own Words
“My journey is a testament to the power of passion, cultural pride, and sustainability. Fashion can be soft, yes, but it can also be strong, subversive, and transformational. I want women to feel all of that in what they wear, and in who they are.”
