Muna Al Mulla is an Emirati woman whose passion for learning and innovation transcends boundaries. She firmly believes that “passion and hard work are the keys to success.” Growing up in an environment that nurtured ambition, she has carried that drive throughout her life, shaping a career that reflects both resilience and impact.

Reflecting on her beginnings, she says: “My professional journey started with a genuine desire to prove myself and leave a mark in my field. I was drawn to pharmacy because it combines challenge with serving people. From there, I moved step by step, driven by faith, commitment, and facing many challenges along the way.”

Muna earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, followed by a Master’s in Innovation and Change Management. In 2022, she pursued a Master of Arts in International Affairs and Diplomatic Leadership, graduating in 2023. Today, she is embarking on a PhD journey in Intelligent Systems Engineering, affirming her belief that learning never stops.

Her entrepreneurial spirit also led her to launch her own perfume brand, Meraki by Muna Al Mulla. She recalls: “This was not just a personal success it was a message to those around me that determination can turn dreams into reality.”

As an ambitious Emirati woman, Muna faced challenges, particularly in breaking stereotypes in fields traditionally seen as male-dominated. Yet she overcame them with persistence, continuous learning, and professional growth, proving that women can achieve anything despite obstacles.

Today, she proudly observes: “We are living in a golden era for Emirati women. We are no longer just participants we are decision-makers and essential partners in national development. The previous generation paved the way, and now we are reaping the fruits of their efforts while continuing the journey with confidence.”

Speaking about Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation, Muna says: “She is a true role model for every Emirati woman. Thanks to her support and guidance, we have an enabling environment that allows us to pursue our dreams without limitations. Personally, her example has deeply shaped my belief in balancing multiple ambitions and responsibilities.”

Her message to young Emirati women is clear and inspiring: “Do not set limits to your ambitions. Opportunities today are greater than ever, but success comes only to those with determination and persistence. Do not fear failure, because every experience carries a lesson that leads you toward something better.”

On this year’s theme, “Hand in Hand, We Celebrate the Union,” she reflects: “This slogan embodies the values of unity and solidarity on which our nation was built. For me, it is a call to double our efforts with a spirit of teamwork, so that we celebrate not just past achievements, but also the journey ahead.”

حصلت منى على درجة البكالوريوس في الصيدلة، تلتها درجة الماجستير في الابتكار وإدارة التغيير. وفي عام ٢٠٢٢، تابعت دراسة الماجستير في الشؤون الدولية والقيادة الدبلوماسية، وتخرجت في عام ٢٠٢٣. واليوم، بدأت رحلتها في دراسة الدكتوراه في هندسة النظم الذكية، مؤكدة اعتقادها بأن التعلم لا يتوقف أبدًا

كما قادها روحها الريادية إلى إطلاق علامتها التجارية الخاصة في العطور، “ميراكي من منى الملا”. وتتذكر قائلة: “لم يكن هذا مجرد نجاح شخصي، بل كان رسالة لمن حولي بأن العزيمة يمكن أن تحول الأحلام إلى واقع

بوصفها امرأة إماراتية طموحة، واجهت منى تحديات، خصوصًا في كسر الصور النمطية في مجالات يُنظر إليها تقليديًا على أنها مهيمنة للرجال. لكنها تغلبت عليها بالإصرار والتعلم المستمر والنمو المهني، لتثبت أن المرأة قادرة على تحقيق أي شيء رغم العقبات

اليوم، تقول بفخر: “نحن نعيش عصرًا ذهبيًا للمرأة الإماراتية. لم نعد مجرد مشاركات، بل أصبحنا صانعات قرار وشركاء أساسيين في التنمية الوطنية. الجيل السابق مهد الطريق، ونحن اليوم نجني ثمار جهوده بينما نواصل المسيرة بثقة

وعن شعار هذا العام، “يدا بيد نحتفي بالاتحاد”، تقول: “هذا الشعار يجسد قيم الوحدة والتضامن التي قامت عليها دولتنا. بالنسبة لي، هو دعوة لمضاعفة جهودنا بروح الفريق الواحد، كي نحتفل ليس فقط بالإنجازات الماضية، بل أيضًا بالمسيرة القادمة
