Driven Magazine had the pleasure of visiting this extraordinary space, and what we found was more than an art gallery, it’s a sanctuary for the senses, a meeting point between legacy and innovation.

Oblon is not just about showcasing art , it’s about living inside it. Surrounded by sculptures in white Carrara marble, bronze, and steel, alongside bold paintings from across the globe, every step through the gallery feels like a conversation with the world. This is a space where art isn’t static it breathes, provokes, uplifts.

What makes Oblon particularly unique is its spiritual and creative link to Pietrasanta, the famed “City of Art” in Tuscany. Known for its proximity to the Carrara marble quarries and its network of master artisans, Pietrasanta has been a magnet for international sculptors for centuries. The gallery seeks to transfer that artistic DNA into the heart of Dubai to create a space that carries the soul of Italy, but resonates with the rhythm of the Middle East.

As one of the curators shared with us:

“This is why I thought to bring this art to Dubai to combine painters from all over the world. Choosing the right artist is never easy. Every market has its own taste, and you have to balance your own instincts with the pulse of the city.”

The gallery is also part of a bigger movement a new chapter in the life of creators, curators, and cultural connectors. Oblon is where bloggers become storytellers of beauty, and where new ideas are born in spaces like the creative zone and beyond. A special focus is now placed on women in art, with upcoming exhibitions centered on female artists, their voices, and their visions.

Our common thread throughout the exhibition is collaboration with “A lot of women, a lot of art,” they smiled. “We want to work more with women and promote exhibitions where their presence shines.”

But above all, the purpose of this evolving platform is clear: to bring joy. The themes of the next exhibitions will be rooted in happiness, optimism, and beauty positive emotions that the world deeply needs.

And as we wrapped up our visit, we were warmly reminded:
