More than two decades ago, Hamda entered the world of early childhood education not merely as a career choice but as a calling. A graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Studies, and armed later with professional diplomas in Montessori philosophy and certified coaching, she has steadily built a body of work that merges academic rigor with heartfelt passion. But her journey took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis — a disease that, at the time, carried more questions than answers.

For many, such a diagnosis might have spelled retreat. For Hamda, it was the opposite. “The diagnosis was a moment of shock, yes. But it became my fuel,” she reflects. “I decided that this illness would not define my limits — it would redefine my purpose.”

Building A World for Children

That purpose crystalized into two educational ventures: Saghariyah — a platform for children’s books and educational materials, and Your World Publishing House, which brings creative, locally rooted content to young learners. Both projects have become mirrors of Hamda’s philosophy: that education isn’t simply about instruction but about igniting curiosity and confidence from a child’s earliest years.

لكن رحلتها اتخذت منعطفاً غير متوقع عندما تم تشخيصها بمرض التصلب اللويحي — مرض حينها كان غامضاً، بلا علاج واضح

بالنسبة للكثيرين، قد تكون مثل هذه الصدمة سبباً للتراجع. أما بالنسبة لحمدة، فكان العكس تماماً. تقول
“كانت الصدمة كبيرة في البداية. لكن المرض أصبح وقودي. قررت ألا يسمح له بأن يحدد سقف طموحي — بل أن يعيد تعريف هدفي في الحياة”

بناء عالم للأطفال
