Aamna Mohammed AlShehhi is an Emirati leader and lifelong learner with more than 15 years of experience across government and private sectors. She specializes in Emiratization, talent strategy, career development, and leadership empowerment. Currently, she serves as Regional Director and Emiratization Ambassador at Taaeen Consulting & Talent Development, where she leads strategic programs that connect talent with opportunities across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
Her career began in education as a teacher and later as Head of Teacher and Leadership Training Programs at the UAE Ministry of Education. She then transitioned into leadership roles, most notably as Director of Emiratization & Talent Management in the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, where she spearheaded major national initiatives such as the Work Readiness Program, Assessment Centers, and Succession Management for Future Leaders.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

Aamna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management and a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at UAE University. She is also a certified coach and speaker with the Maxwell Leadership Team, with professional certifications from SHRM, CIPD, and the ROI Institute.

Challenges

As an Emirati woman rising through leadership ranks, Amna faced cultural expectations, evolving workplace dynamics, and the challenge of proving herself in male-dominated spaces. She overcame these challenges through credentials, performance, and integrity earning trust, building coalitions, and using communication and coaching to influence decisions. Today, she leverages those experiences to mentor and empower others.

Achievements

Among her proudest accomplishments is winning the Sheikh Saqr Program for Government Excellence Medal for Best Initiative in 2019, recognizing the impact of her Emiratization and career development frameworks in Ras Al Khaimah. She also led initiatives such as the Talent Management Project, the Work Readiness Program, and the Ras Al Khaimah Annual Training Budget Model.
Beyond awards, her greatest pride lies in seeing people thrive whether it’s a graduate landing their first job or a professional stepping into leadership after a development program she helped design.

Aamna believes the role of Emirati women has shifted from supporting development to leading it. Today, Emirati women are founders, educators, executives, and global speakers. She is proud to have been selected among 400 leaders in 2019 to join the UAE Government Leadership Program, which empowered her to turn ambition into achievement.

آمنة محمد الشحي قيادية إماراتية ومتعلمة مدى الحياة، تمتلك خبرة تزيد عن 15 عامًا في القطاعين الحكومي والخاص. متخصصة في التوطين، استراتيجيات تنمية المواهب، تطوير المسارات المهنية، وتمكين القيادات. تشغل حاليًا منصب المديرة الإقليمية وسفيرة التوطين في شركة “تعيين للاستشارات وتطوير المواهب”، حيث تقود برامج استراتيجية تربط الكفاءات بالفرص عبر دبي والإمارات الشمالية

الإنجازات

من أبرز إنجازاتها حصولها عام 2019 على ميدالية الشيخ صقر للتميز الحكومي عن أفضل مبادرة في حكومة رأس الخيمة، تقديرًا لاستراتيجيات التوطين والأطر التطويرية التي صممتها وأسهمت في إحداث أثر ملموس. كما قادت مبادرات بارزة مثل مشروع إدارة المواهب، برنامج الجاهزية للعمل، ونموذج الموازنة السنوية للتدريب في رأس الخيمة. وإلى جانب الجوائز، تعتبر أكبر فخر لها هو رؤية الشباب الإماراتي يخطون خطوات واثقة في سوق العمل، والمهنيين الإماراتيين يرتقون إلى مواقع القيادة بعد برامج تطوير ساهمت في صياغتها
