A Journey Rooted in Ambition and Purpose

My academic journey began in Information Technology, a field I chose out of my interest in technology, rapid development, and their role in shaping the future. As I entered professional life, I realized that my ambition extended beyond the boundaries of my specialization, and that I had a passion for management, working with people, and contributing to projects and initiatives that create tangible impact.

From there, I continued to develop myself academically and professionally. I earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Canadian University Dubai, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the Higher Colleges of Technology. I also pursued specialized training programs and diplomas that contributed to broadening my professional and leadership perspectives.

I believe that education does not end with a university degree, and that every new stage in life requires new knowledge. Continuous learning has therefore been one of the principles that has accompanied me throughout my journey.

More Than Ten Years of Professional Experience

My professional journey has not been confined to a single path. I have gained more than ten years of experience in the telecommunications, infrastructure, and project management sectors. This environment provided me with many professional skills and taught me the importance of precision, planning, responsibility management, and working within diverse teams.

A person may begin in a technical field and then find themselves moving into management, youth and community work, communications, or decision-making. What matters is to carry new knowledge from every experience and to understand how to utilize diverse expertise in service of a greater purpose.

Youth: From Participation to Responsibility

Youth have always held a special place in my journey, as I worked for years in this field and came close to the ideas, aspirations, and challenges of young people.

My experience taught me that empowering young people does not mean speaking on their behalf. It means listening to them, trusting their abilities, and creating space for them to become part of the solution and the decision-making process.

I am also proud to have graduated from the Young Parliamentarians Program, an experience that contributed to developing my dialogue, discussion, and representation skills, while giving me a deeper understanding of the responsibility young people have toward their country and community.

Through my various youth engagements, my belief has grown stronger that the youth of the UAE possess exceptional opportunities, but every opportunity comes with responsibility. The country has given young people trust, space, and support, and our role is to transform that trust into knowledge, action, and achievement.

National Identity: Deep Roots and a Vision for the Future

Emirati national identity has been a fundamental part of my experience, and I am proud to be a graduate of the UAE National Identity Ambassadors Program.

This experience deepened a principle I have always believed in: we can be people of our time, open to the world and keeping pace with technology and global transformations, while remaining deeply proud of our identity, values, and roots.

For me, identity is not merely a heritage that we speak about; it is a behavior that we practice.

It is reflected in our ethics, the way we treat others, our respect for others, our commitment to excellence, and the image of the UAE that we present wherever we go.

Whenever I have had the opportunity to represent my country or participate in an international forum, I have felt that carrying the name of the UAE is greater than any personal achievement. When we represent our country, every word becomes a responsibility, every action becomes a responsibility, and even the smallest details carry a different meaning.

Communication and Content Creation: Influence Is a Responsibility

My experience has also extended into communications and content creation, an area I consider today to be one of the most important spaces for creating influence in society.

In an era where anyone can reach thousands of people with a message within moments, the question for me is no longer: How many people viewed the content? Rather, it is: What value did this content leave with them?

I believe content creation is not simply about visibility or presence on platforms; it is a responsibility. Therefore, I have always sought to connect my presence with national, youth, and community causes and initiatives, making content a means of spreading awareness and highlighting positive role models.

With the rapid advancement of technology and artificial intelligence, this responsibility has become even greater. We are facing a generation that receives an enormous amount of information every day, and our role is therefore to provide responsible content that respects the human mind and preserves the values of society.

Humanitarian Work: When Giving Becomes Part of the Journey

Despite my pride in every professional and youth milestone I have experienced, some experiences cannot be measured by a job title, certificate, or position.

Humanitarian and volunteer work hold a special place in my journey because I believe that the value of what we achieve is not complete unless part of it is dedicated to serving others.

One of the experiences I am particularly proud of is my contribution to Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

It was a humanitarian experience that left a profound impact on me because it embodied the values of solidarity, compassion, giving, and responsibility toward humanity.

Experiences like these make us reconsider the meaning of achievement. Amid our work, ambitions, and goals, we discover that some of the most meaningful achievements are not written on a résumé and are not associated with a position or title. Instead, they remain as an impact in another person’s life.

I learned that giving is not measured by the size of the role a person plays, but by the sincerity of their presence and their willingness to offer what they can when there is a need.

This experience also made me even prouder of the UAE and its humanitarian approach. We grew up in a country that never made giving conditional upon borders, nationality, or culture, but rather placed humanity at the heart of humanitarian work.

From this perspective, I became even more convinced that humanitarian work is not separate from leadership or professional success; it is one of their most important meanings.

True success is not complete through what we achieve for ourselves, but through what we are able to give to others.

Leadership and Economic Contribution: From Experience to Responsibility

Every experience in my life opened the door to a new responsibility.

Today, I am proud to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a milestone that I see as an extension of my previous experiences in professional, youth, and community work.

Being on the board is not merely a title added to my résumé; it is a responsibility and an opportunity to contribute to the economic sector and the business environment.

My long experience with young people also makes me keen to ensure that their voices, aspirations, and ideas are present, and to encourage the new generation to enter the industrial sector and benefit from the opportunities provided by the UAE.

I believe that today’s youth should not only be seeking opportunities, but should also be capable of creating them. The future economy needs a generation that can transform knowledge, technology, and innovation into projects and economic and social value.

Challenges Shaped Part of the Journey

No professional journey is free of challenges, and mine was no exception.

One of the most significant challenges for me was perhaps the diversity of the fields in which I worked. Moving from one field to another sometimes means starting the learning process again, proving your capabilities in a different environment, and not relying on previous success to guarantee success in the next stage.

Balancing professional work with community and youth engagement, content creation, and other responsibilities also requires considerable commitment and time management.

But I learned not to view challenges as barriers, but rather as opportunities to discover a new capability.

I did not always have all the answers, nor do I believe that anyone is required to have them. Sometimes, strength means acknowledging that we need to learn, listening to those with experience, reassessing our decisions, and starting again when necessary.

The Emirati Woman: More Than an Individual Success Story

When I look at my journey, I realize that it is only a small part of a much greater story: the story of the Emirati woman.

We are daughters of a nation that believed in women’s capabilities from the very beginning, invested in their education, placed its trust in them, and opened the doors of participation across various sectors.

Today, we see Emirati women in leadership and decision-making positions, as well as in economics, science, technology, space, medicine, engineering, entrepreneurship, government, and community work.

This presence did not happen by chance. It is the result of an integrated national vision.

Therefore, I believe that our responsibility is greater today. Empowerment does not simply mean receiving an opportunity; it means being worthy of that opportunity, adding value to it, and paving the way more effectively for those who come after us.

“We Will Emerge Stronger and Better”

For me, the UAE Emirati Women’s Day 2026 slogan, “We Will Emerge Stronger and Better,” carries a profound meaning.

Being stronger does not mean that we never stumble, nor does it mean living without challenges. True strength is learning from experience and rising again with greater awareness, maturity, and ability to continue.

Being better does not mean comparing ourselves with others. It means striving to make who we are today better than who we were yesterday.

On a personal level, the slogan means that I should never stop learning and developing myself.

On a family level, it means that a woman should be a source of values, support, and balance, and a partner in raising generations that are confident in themselves and their identity.

Professionally, it means turning every responsibility we receive into genuine value.

Nationally, it is a reminder that every opportunity given to the Emirati woman comes with the responsibility to add a new achievement to the journey of our nation.

“Mother of the Emirates”: A Journey That Shaped Generations

We cannot speak about the journey of the Emirati woman without pausing with profound appreciation for the historic role of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates.”

What inspires me most about Her Highness’s journey is that empowering women was not an initiative tied to a particular period, but rather a long-term vision that contributed to building a system that supports women in their education, families, careers, and community and national participation.

The Emirati woman we see today in positions of responsibility is an extension of this vision, which has invested in people for decades.

My message to Her Highness is the message of a daughter of the UAE:

Thank you, Your Highness, for believing in Emirati women, supporting their ambitions, and establishing their presence as an authentic partner in the journey of our nation. What we have achieved today carries within its details the impact of this vision and continuous support.

I believe that the most beautiful expression of our gratitude is not to stop at what has already been achieved, but to continue building and opening the way for new generations of Emirati women.

Family and Nation: Behind Every Step

When a person is asked about those who stand behind their success, for me, the answer begins with family.

The support, trust, and values a person receives at home create a strong foundation that accompanies them throughout the different stages of life.

And then there is the nation, which is the greatest factor in my story and the story of thousands of Emirati women.

I grew up in a country that never made me ask, “Can a woman succeed?” Instead, it made me think, “How far do I want to go, and what will I contribute when I get there?”

I also owe much to every person who crossed my path and gave me knowledge, advice, an opportunity, or a lesson—from leaders and colleagues to the young people I worked with and learned from.

Success, no matter how individual it may appear, is always supported by a network of people, experiences, and opportunities.

To Every Emirati Girl

On Emirati Women’s Day, my message to every girl and young woman at the beginning of her journey is:

Do not place a ceiling on your ambitions, but do not make reaching your destination quickly your goal.

Build yourself before seeking a position. Invest in your education, skills, and character. Embrace experiences that take you outside your comfort zone, and do not be afraid if the path you once envisioned for yourself changes.

Do not compare your beginning with someone else’s middle. Every person has their own timing, story, and challenges.

Hold on to your identity and values no matter how broad your experiences become. The world may be impressed by your achievements, but what truly distinguishes you is the ability to reflect, through who you are, the values from which you came.

We are fortunate to have the opportunities the UAE has given us, and the best way to express our gratitude is to make the most of them and make the path wider for those who come after us.

The Journey Continues

As for my ambitions for the future, I do not define them by a particular position.

I aspire to continue developing myself and expanding my contribution to government, industry, community, and youth work, while utilizing my experience in communications and content creation to create an even greater positive impact.

Through my membership on the Board of Directors of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, I look forward to contributing to supporting the business environment, encouraging young people and entrepreneurs, and promoting ideas and initiatives that serve industry and society.

I also hope to continue my humanitarian and community work because I believe this aspect is what gives professional achievements their true human meaning.

I do not believe there is a stage called “I have arrived.”

Every achievement is the beginning of a responsibility, and every responsibility is a new opportunity to learn and give.

When I look back at my journey, I do not see a straight path or success without challenges. I see a collection of experiences, opportunities, decisions, and lessons—some I planned for and others that came unexpectedly—but all of them shaped the person I am today.

On Emirati Women’s Day, I say to every woman who aspires to be among “the strongest and the best”:

Be strong through your knowledge, better through your values, ambitious through your achievements, and human through your impact. Do not let your success stop with you. Make it an opportunity to empower someone else, serve your community, and give back, even in part, to a nation that has given us so much.

As for me, my journey continues, and I still have much to learn and much to give.

And the principle I carry with me at every stage remains:

May success have meaning, responsibility have impact, giving have a human dimension, and ambition always have a destination called the UAE.
