Hamda Alblooshi is a writer specializing in children’s literature and a kindergarten teacher with more than 20 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Certified Professional Trainer Diploma, and a Diploma in Montessori Philosophy in American Education.

Her passion for early learning inspired her to establish two educational projects: Sighariya, a platform for children’s books and educational tools, and Dar Aalamkum Publishing and Distribution, both reflecting her deep commitment to childhood and education.

Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a life-changing challenge, she turned adversity into strength. Instead of allowing the illness to define her, she transformed it into a source of inspiration and a reason to double her impact in education and society.

Her family was her first pillar of support, instilling in her the belief that she was “different and special.” The wider community, too, played its part, as she drew motivation from the parents she worked with and from the messages of followers inspired by her story.

Hamda credits the United Arab Emirates as the nurturing environment that enabled her growth. Opportunities through exhibitions, cultural initiatives, and institutional support for publishers and entrepreneurs gave her the space to thrive.

She sees Emirati women today as decision-makers, leaders, and true partners in national development. For her, this progress is the natural continuation of what mothers and grandmothers planted decades ago. She describes Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation, as a guiding light who gave Emirati women confidence that their place in building the nation is secure.

Her message to young Emirati women is clear: “Believe in yourself. Do not fear failure. Work quietly and let your achievements speak for you. Never abandon your values or identity.”

Reflecting on this year’s theme, “Hand in Hand, We Celebrate the 50th”, Hamda sees it as a symbol of collective effort and a reminder that women are indispensable partners in shaping the future of the nation.

She lives by one guiding thought:

“Make your life a story worth telling.”

ورغم التحديات الصحية التي واجهتها بعد إصابتها بمرض التصلب اللويحي، فإنها حولت المحنة إلى منحة، واختارت أن تجعل من تجربتها مصدر إلهام وعطاء مضاعف، مؤكدة أن المرض لم يكن حاجزاً أمام الطموح بل جسراً نحو قوة جديدة
استمدت دعمها من عائلتها التي آمنت بتميزها، ومن المجتمع الذي منحها الثقة عبر رسائل أولياء الأمور ومتابعيها. وتؤمن أن البيئة الإماراتية كانت الحاضنة الأساسية لمسيرتها، إذ وفرت لها فرص المشاركة في المعارض والمبادرات الثقافية والتعليمية، وفتحت أبواب الريادة للمرأة في مختلف المجالات
ترى حمدة أن المرأة الإماراتية اليوم أصبحت صانعة قرار، ومديرة وشريكة في التنمية، وهو تطور طبيعي لثمار غرس الأمهات والجدات. وتعتبر سمو الشيخة فاطمة بنت مبارك، أم الإمارات، القدوة والملهمة التي منحت النساء الثقة بأن مكانهن محفوظ في مسيرة الوطن
وتوجه رسالتها للشابات: آمنّي بنفسك، لا تخافي الفشل، اعملي بصمت ودعي إنجازاتك تتحدث عنك، وحافظي على قيمك وهويتك مهما علت مكانتك
أما شعار هذا العام يداً بيد نحتفي بالخمسين، فهو بالنسبة لها رمز للعمل الجماعي وتجديد الإيمان بدور المرأة كشريك أساسي في نهضة الوطن
