She is the author of the novel The Guardian of The Sky, founder of the literary review page “The Reader”, a valued member of “Arab horror literature”, and the Vice President of the Arab horror literature Book club. The Guardian of The Sky — The Birth of an Idea Between Dream and Thought

This continuous engagement with diverse literary styles expanded her understanding of narrative and refined her linguistic precision. “Every book I reviewed opened a new window into the human experience,” she reflects. Between the Association and the Club — Community as a Source of Growth
Joining the Association of Arab Horror literature and serving as Vice President of the Arab Horror literature Book Club gave Ala the rare chance to belong to a community that shares her passion. “Being surrounded by writers and readers who love this genre enriched my experience deeply,” she says.
Discussing works by Osama Al-Muslim, Abdulwahab Al-Refaie, and Hassan El-Gendy opened new creative horizons and helped her understand the diversity within Arab literature of mystery and imagination. Through these dialogues, she realized that every writer must find their own authentic voice amidst the chorus of influences.

When asked what draws her to this kind of literature, Ala answers with reflective depth:
“What fascinates me is its ability to delve into the depths of the human psyche and expose the hidden corners we often fear to confront.”

She acknowledges, however, that such genres remain somewhat underrepresented in Arabic literature, though writers like Osama Al-Muslim, Hassan El-Gendy, and Abdulwahab Al-Refaie are paving the way toward a new, richer literary presence.
Between Motherhood and Writing — A Delicate Balance
Balancing motherhood with creative pursuit was never easy for Ala, but she views time management and family support as her secret to harmony. “I learned to organize my day so that I fulfill my family duties without giving up on my dream,” she says.
She credits her parents, husband and close friends for their unwavering encouragement. “Writing and reading are not a luxury for me, they’re what restore my energy and keep me grounded.”
