Kenza is a woman at heart deeply rooted, yet constantly in motion. She moves through the world with curiosity and intention, traveling across continents, absorbing cultures, and collecting inspiration from every place and person she encounters. Yet even in motion, she remains firmly anchored to her roots and heritage, a connection she carries proudly into everything she creates.

OSOUL was born from this delicate balance between openness and identity. “I didn’t want to create a traditional kaftan, but rather a dress one that carries the soul and elegance of our heritage while being effortless, modern, and easy to wear. A dress that feels just as natural in Dubai as it does in London or New York.”

Her vision was clear from the beginning: pieces women can slip into anywhere, without constraint clothes that deliver confidence, comfort, and beauty in equal measure. OSOUL speaks to women from the Arab world and beyond: women who move, travel, work, and live freely, and who want to wear something meaningful without sacrificing ease or style.

“What inspired me to create OSOUL was precisely the desire to be different. When you look at the fashion landscape today, everything often feels like a giant photocopy that malfunctioned everyone wearing the same silhouettes, the same trends, the same ideas repeated again and again.” For Kenza, the kaftan more precisely, her interpretation of it became a way to interrupt sameness. Tradition, she believes, stays alive when treated with respect and refreshed with intention. “My goal was never to replicate what already exists, but to reinterpret our heritage in a way that feels light, effortless, and contemporary.”

Establishing OSOUL in the UAE has been one of her proudest milestones. “One of the most meaningful milestones for me has been establishing my brand in the Emirates and more specifically in Abu Dhabi. It is a country I deeply love and respect, and seeing OSOUL grow here is a true source of pride for me.” Entering a new market meant learning its rhythm and expectations, yet the UAE’s openness made possibility feel tangible. The real challenge, she explains, was ensuring OSOUL remained authentic while connecting with a diverse international audience.

Authenticity is the brand’s quiet signature. “First of all, OSOUL truly has a soul.” Fabrics sourced from around the world rarely repeated meet hand embroidery and thoughtful craftsmanship. Each piece carries its own character and story, offering a refined balance of modern, chic, and effortless style paired with authenticity and quality that feel increasingly rare.

Maintaining the balance between tradition and modernity is a careful process. “I always try to keep a contemporary touch, but without over-modernizing. One thing I truly dislike is when designs lose their essence and become kitsch.” Her creative approach protects the middle ground: refined simplicity that respects heritage while staying relevant.

Though the brand is only two years old, every collection is deeply personal. Inspiration arrives constantly through travel, fabrics, markets, fashion shows, performances, and even quiet mornings. “Each collection becomes a reflection of what I’m living, seeing, and feeling at that exact moment. That’s why I can’t choose just one they are all meaningful, because they are all pieces of my journey.”

Sustainability, for Kenza, begins with intention. Childhood memories of a mother devoted to elegance and quality shaped her philosophy. “I remember she had hundreds of traditional Moroccan outfits, and when I was around twelve, I would try to resize them to fit me because I found them so beautiful.” Today, OSOUL produces limited quantities, uses unique fabrics, and honors artisans. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is disposable. “Each piece is made with intention, care, and respect so that it can be worn, loved, and kept for years.”

The brand continues to grow organically, supported by exhibitions, loyal clients, and partnerships such as Elevenish in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Yet for Kenza, the true engine of growth is human connection. “Their support, their feedback, and their loyalty give me the confidence to see the future much bigger, inshallah.”

Her advice to aspiring women entrepreneurs is simple yet powerful: “Keep moving forward and never give up. I truly believe that women are the light of the universe and the soul of the earth.” Trust your vision. Surround yourself with the right people. Stay consistent. Let your inner light guide the journey.

In a world of fast fashion and fleeting trends, OSOUL offers something quieter and more enduring: clothing that carries a story, a culture, and a soul designed for women who are always in motion, yet never disconnected from who they are.
