During more than twelve years in education, it was not information that captured her attention most, but people. She observed personalities more than grades. She constantly asked herself: Why are people so different? Why does one approach succeed with one person yet fail with another? Why do we witness the same situation but experience completely different emotions toward it?

At the time, she did not realize that these questions would eventually lead her on a journey that would transform her life entirely.

From the Classroom to the Home: When Motherhood Became an Extension of Learning

Amani would return home from school carrying ideas and questions, only to find those same questions waiting for her there.

At home, she was a mother—a mother of five children, each with a unique personality, different interests, and their own way of understanding and interacting with the world.

She applied what she learned from her students to her family life, and what she learned from her children to her profession. The more she understood others, the more she discovered that there was one person she needed to understand more deeply than anyone else: herself.

And there, the real journey began.

From Searching for Parenting Solutions to a Deeper Journey of Awareness and Understanding Human Nature

Amani did not stop at seeking parenting solutions. She began searching for the deeper reasons behind emotions, behaviors, and the motivations that drive human beings.

She studied education, then awareness and personal growth, then personality types, emotional intelligence, and human relationships.

Her goal was never to accumulate certificates or credentials; it was to understand life more deeply.

She was searching for the answer to one simple question:

How can a person live in peace with themselves?

Motherhood: A Journey That Taught Her Patience, Flexibility, and Faith

Amid this journey came the experience of raising a child who required special care and continuous attention.

It became one of the most profound experiences of her life, teaching her the true meaning of patience, resilience, and faith.

From the heart of this experience emerged the story of “Al Jood,” followed by her book “But You Are a Mother!”, a work that called on women to embrace self-acceptance rather than pursue perfection.

It was then that she realized what she had once believed to be a personal journey had become a message for others.

“Mars”: A Planet for Mothers and a Space for Honest Conversations

From this idea was born “Mareekh” (Mars)—a space created exclusively for mothers, a place for dialogue, reflection, and honesty.

Through her podcast and various media appearances, Amani began sharing the lessons she had learned through years of observation, experience, and research.

Her journey did not stop there. It expanded through her participation in the “Family Content Creators Program,” launched by the Ministry of Family in partnership with the New Media Academy.

This experience became a significant milestone that refined her digital content creation skills and strengthened her conviction that meaningful family-focused messages require a modern media language capable of reaching every household. It also reinforced her belief in transforming scientific knowledge into impactful content that touches the lives of families across the UAE.

Not an Expert with All the Answers—Just a Woman Still Learning

Amani never presents herself as an expert who possesses all the answers.

Instead, she speaks as a woman who continues to learn every day.

A woman whose profession taught her to understand people, whose experience of motherhood taught her to understand herself, and whose life taught her that the greatest impact a person can leave behind is not measured by the number of achievements they accomplish, but by the number of hearts they touch.

من التعليم بدأت الحكاية

لم تكن أماني عبدالله الطنيجي تحلم بأن تصبح كاتبة، أو أن تقدم بودكاست، أو أن تظهر في لقاءات إعلامية تتحدث فيها عن الوعي والأمومة. كانت فقط معلمة، معلمة إماراتية تقف كل صباح أمام عشرات الطلبة وتحاول أن تفهمهم، على مدار أكثر من اثني عشر عامًا في التعليم، لم تكن المعلومة هي أكثر ما يلفت انتباهها، بل الإنسان. كانت تراقب الشخصيات أكثر من الدرجات. تراقب الطالبة التي ترفض المشاركة لأنها تخشى الخطأ، وأخرى لا تستطيع التعبير عن مشاعرها بالكلمات، وثالثة تتغير بالكامل عندما تشعر بالأمان والثقة، كانت تتساءل دائمًا: لماذا يختلف الناس إلى هذا الحد؟ ولماذا تنجح طريقة مع شخص بينما تفشل مع آخر؟ ولماذا نرى الموقف نفسه لكننا نشعر تجاهه بمشاعر مختلفة؟، لم تكن تعلم أن هذه الأسئلة ستقودها لاحقًا إلى رحلة ستغير حياتها بالكامل

من المدرسة إلى المنزل… حين أصبحت الأمومة امتدادًا للتعلم

كانت أماني تعود من المدرسة محملة بالأفكار والتساؤلات، ثم تجد هذه الأسئلة تنتظرها مرة أخرى في المنزل، هناك كانت أمًا، أمًا لخمسة أبناء، لكل واحد منهم شخصيته المختلفة، واهتماماته المختلفة، وطريقته الخاصة في فهم العالم والتعامل معه، كانت تطبق ما تتعلمه من الطلبة في بيتها، وتطبق ما تتعلمه من أبنائها في عملها، وكلما ازداد فهمها للآخرين، اكتشفت أن هناك شخصًا آخر تحتاج إلى فهمه أكثر من الجميع: نفسها، وهنا بدأت الرحلة الحقيقية

من البحث عن حلول تربوية إلى رحلة أعمق نحو الوعي وفهم الإنسان

لم تبحث أماني عن حلول تربوية فقط، بل بدأت تبحث عن أسباب المشاعر والسلوكيات والدوافع التي تحرك الإنسان. قرأت في التربية، ثم في الوعي، ثم في فهم الشخصيات، ثم في الذكاء العاطفي والعلاقات الإنسانية، لم يكن هدفها أن تجمع الشهادات، بل أن تفهم الحياة بصورة أعمق، كانت تبحث عن إجابة لسؤال بسيط: كيف يمكن للإنسان أن يعيش بسلام مع نفسه؟

تجربة الأمومة التي علمتها الصبر والمرونة والإيمان

في خضم هذه الرحلة، جاءت تجربة الأمومة لطفل يحتاج إلى رعاية ومتابعة خاصة، فكانت من أكثر التجارب التي علمتها معنى الصبر والمرونة والإيمان، ومن قلب هذه التجربة وُلدت قصة «الجود»، ثم وُلد كتابها «ولكن أنتِ أم»، الذي كان دعوة للتصالح مع الذات، لا للمثالية، وهنا أدركت أن ما كانت تظنه رحلة شخصية أصبح رسالة

«مريخ»… كوكب للأمهات ومساحة للحوار والصدق

من هذه الفكرة وُلد «مريخ»… كوكب للأمهات فقط، ومساحة للحوار والتأمل والصدق، ومن خلال البودكاست والاستضافات الإعلامية المختلفة، بدأت أماني تشارك ما تعلمته خلال سنوات طويلة من الملاحظة والتجربة والبحث، ولم تتوقف الرحلة عند ذلك، بل امتدت إلى المشاركة في برنامج «صُنّاع المحتوى الأسري»، الذي أطلقته وزارة الأسرة بالشراكة مع أكاديمية الإعلام الجديد. وكانت هذه التجربة محطة نوعية صقلت أدواتها في صناعة المحتوى الرقمي، ورسخت قناعتها بأن الرسائل الأسرية الواعية تحتاج إلى لغة إعلامية حديثة تصل إلى كل بيت، وتحول المعرفة العلمية إلى محتوى مؤثر يلامس حياة الأسر في دولة الإمارات
