One of the most significant milestones in Sindiya’s journey was founding and leading TEDxAlBateen.
More than just an annual event, TEDxAlBateen became an intellectual and community platform in Abu Dhabi that brought together identity, dialogue, people, and transformative ideas.
She also takes pride in supporting entrepreneurs by building partnerships and ecosystems that generated tangible financial and economic benefits for small and medium-sized enterprises, expanding opportunities and connecting entrepreneurs with meaningful resources.
Another milestone was establishing Fujtown, the first business and tourism platform dedicated to the UAE’s East Coast.
Fujtown received the Sharjah Economic Excellence Award as the Best Small and Medium Enterprise, becoming one of the defining experiences of her entrepreneurial career.
She learned that successful businesses are built not merely on innovative ideas but on patience, operational excellence, market understanding, and long-term commitment.

One of Sindiya’s greatest challenges has been working in environments that are not fully established.
Many of the initiatives she leads require creating entirely new systems, restructuring existing ones, building trust from scratch, and aligning multiple stakeholders around a shared vision.

One of the moments Sindiya remembers most vividly is watching a simple idea grow into a platform where people stand before audiences to share meaningful stories.
At TEDxAlBateen, there were many occasions when she realized the work had gone far beyond organizing an event.
Seeing a personal story move an audience or an idea spark meaningful dialogue reminded her that platforms are not simply events—they are tools for shaping awareness and inspiring change.
She also treasures the experience of building an entrepreneurial venture from nothing and then watching it become a reality.
Those moments reinforce her belief that leadership is not simply about building projects but about creating spaces where people and ideas can flourish.
Believing in Potential
Sindiya does not believe in the myth of individual success.
Every meaningful achievement, she says, is supported by people, opportunities, lessons, and circumstances.
One of the greatest influences on her journey has been the quality of the people she chose to surround herself with.
She has been fortunate to work alongside senior executives, decision-makers, and experienced leaders who believed in her ability to transform ideas into reality.

Sindiya encourages every Emirati girl and young woman not to wait until the path is fully mapped out before taking the first step.
She advises them to:

لا تؤمن سندية بفكرة النجاح الفردي المطلق، فكل إنجاز حقيقي يقف خلفه أشخاص، وظروف، وفرص، ودروس. وتعتقد أن من أهم العوامل التي أثرت في مسيرتها نوعية الأشخاص الذين اختارت أن تحيط نفسها بهم. فقد كانت محظوظة بأنها تعاملت مع قيادات تنفيذية، وأصحاب قرار، وأشخاص على مستوى عالٍ من الخبرة والطموح، آمنوا بها وبقدرتها على تحويل الأفكار إلى واقع. هؤلاء الأشخاص لم يمنحوها فقط الدعم، بل منحوها الثقة، وكانوا يرون أنها قادرة على إنجاز الأمور، وفتح الأبواب، وبناء العلاقات، وقيادة المبادرات حتى عندما تكون الطريق غير واضحة بالكامل. وفي المقابل، مرت أيضاً بتجارب مع أشخاص أو مدراء لم يكونوا داعمين بالقدر الكافي، لكنها تعلمت مع الوقت أن عدم الدعم لا يكون دائماً بسبب ضعف الفكرة، بل أحياناً لأن بعض الأشخاص غير مستعدين للدخول في المجهول، أو اتخاذ قفزة إيمان، أو تجربة مسار جديد. وقد علمتها هذه التجارب، سواء الداعمة أو الصعبة، أن تختار محيطها بعناية، وأن تقترب من الأشخاص الذين يؤمنون بالإمكانات قبل النتائج، وبالشجاعة قبل الضمانات، وبالفكرة قبل أن تصبح إنجازاً واضحاً للجميع. كما تعلمت من القادة الذين عملت معهم، ومن رواد الأعمال الذين تعاملت معهم، ومن الفرق التي قادتها، إذ إن الإنسان يتعلم أحياناً من النجاحات، وأحياناً يتعلم أكثر من التحديات، وفي الحالتين تصقل كل تجربة طريقة تفكيره وقيادته

إلى كل فتاة وشابة.. لا تنتظري أن يكتمل الطريق

توجه سندية رسالتها لكل فتاة وشابة إماراتية بألا تنتظر أن يكون الطريق مرسوماً بالكامل حتى تبدأ. وتؤكد أهمية بناء الكفاءة قبل الصورة، والتركيز على القيمة قبل اللقب، وعدم الخوف من التطور أكثر من مرة، فمن الطبيعي أن تتغير الاهتمامات، وأن تنتقل المرأة من مجال إلى آخر، وأن تعيد تعريف نفسها مع كل مرحلة. والمهم أن يبقى لديها وضوح في القيم، وجدية في العمل، واحترام للمسؤولية. وتقول إن المرأة الإماراتية نشأت في بيئة لا تسألها إن كانت قادرة، بل تمنحها الأدوات والمساحة لتثبت قدراتها، ولذلك فإن مسؤوليتها اليوم لا تقتصر على تحقيق النجاح الشخصي، بل تمتد إلى رد الجميل لهذا الوطن من خلال الإبداع، والتميز، وخدمة المجتمع. فالفرص اليوم موجودة، لكن الفرصة وحدها لا تكفي؛ وما يصنع الفرق هو الاستعداد، والانضباط، والشجاعة، والقدرة على الاستمرار عندما لا تكون النتائج فورية
