Dr. Abeer Ahmed Al Balooshi is an Emirati nursing leader who believes that nursing is not merely a profession, but a noble humanitarian mission and a national responsibility that contributes to building a healthier and more sustainable society. She takes pride in being the first Emirati to earn a PhD in Nursing Administration Practice from the United States, and the first Emirati to receive the Nursing Leadership Fellowship from Case Western Reserve University in the USA. She is also the first nurse in the Middle East to receive the competitive scholarship for this prestigious fellowship.
Throughout her career, she was honored to contribute to leading the nursing team for the Organ Transplant Program at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s leading national organ transplantation center. She currently leads nursing teams at Dubai Health, the first integrated academic health system in Dubai. She is also deeply committed to supporting and localizing the nursing profession, believing that national talents are the foundation of a sustainable healthcare sector and its future.
