Aisha Hassan… From the Mountains to the Platforms of Creativity… An Emirati Journey Building Bridges of Influence Through Words and Carrying the Nation’s Message to Wider Horizons

There are stories that begin with quiet and simple moments, yet carry within them the seeds of great dreams. Among poetry notebooks and pages of reflections, the journey of an Emirati poet and media professional began — a woman who believed that sincere words have the power to create impact, and that true creativity begins when a person expresses themselves honestly.
In this interview, she shares key moments from her journey and presents her vision of women, (the nation), and creativity.
The Early Beginnings and the Creation of a Dream
From her early childhood years, Aisha found herself naturally connected to words and poetic imagery. Writing became her personal window through which she expressed her thoughts and emotions, before this talent developed into a complete literary and media journey combining poetry, media, and content creation.
She says:
“I started writing poetry at a young age. I saw the world through images and words. I used to write my thoughts on small pieces of paper. Later, I became a poet writing poems full of life, and I continued my studies in poetry at the Poetry Academy. I began my career as a presenter and programme producer. I learned how to convey people’s emotions and voices with honesty and clarity. I also became a content creator, with verified accounts through my work and marketing for companies.”
The Mountain… Her First Source of Inspiration
Every creative person has a source of inspiration that accompanies them from the beginning. For Aisha, the mountain held a special presence in shaping her personality and outlook on life. From it, she drew meanings of strength, dignity, resilience, and determination.
Speaking about her professional path, she says:
“I am the daughter of a mountainous environment. I always looked at the mountain with admiration for its majesty and height despite all circumstances. Many years of creativity and continuous work followed, and I proved that sincere words always reach hearts. I combined my poetic talent with my media work. I began presenting cultural and literary programmes, hosting many poetry evenings, and participating in meaningful dialogue programmes where I used my voice and my pen to support community issues.”
Memorable Milestones in Her Journey
Some achievements and human moments remain deeply engraved in memory, regardless of how many years pass, because they represent turning points in a person’s journey.
Reflecting on the moments she treasures most, she says:
“The moments of recognition in Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman, and Tunisia are all unforgettable memories for me. My participation in the Unified Gulf Prisoner Event in Sharjah inspired me when I witnessed a prisoner apologising to his family, followed by a surprise forgiveness moment where he was told that he was free that day. I was truly moved by that moment.”
Challenges and Building the Path
Success does not come without challenges, especially when a person chooses a path different from what is traditionally expected. Aisha faced her challenges with confidence and determination, supported by her family and belief in her mission.
She explains:
“As I mentioned before, I am the daughter of a mountainous environment, so for a woman to move from this environment into media and photography was difficult. However, with the recognition I received from our leaders at national events, my mother accompanied me, and my father supported me as well. Thank God, I experienced moments of pride and honour.”
The Emirati Woman… A Global Model of Empowerment
Over recent years, Emirati and Arab women have experienced remarkable progress, becoming key partners in development and decision-making, benefiting from the strong support provided by wise leadership.
Sharing her perspective, Aisha says:
“The Emirati woman enjoys strong support, thanks to Mother of the Emirates, Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. The Emirati woman is a global model of empowerment. She receives exceptional support from wise leadership, which has removed obstacles and strengthened her presence. Today, we see women holding sovereign positions, leading ministries, chairing parliaments, and representing their countries diplomatically around the world.
Arab women also possess determination that challenges difficulties. In economic leadership, women manage major emerging companies and compete in financial and business markets as prominent investors.”
From Four Walls to Gulf Recognition
Every creative person experiences a defining moment that reshapes their path and proves that small dreams can become realities beyond imagination.
Aisha recalls one of the most influential moments in her life:
“From writing between four walls, I received an invitation to the Kingdom of Bahrain to be honoured as a creative individual in youth creativity at the Gulf level. The call was surprising and inspiring for me and my family. I was someone who had only been writing alone in my room, and suddenly I received an invitation to travel and be honoured by Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad.
I will never forget that he said this recognition was not just an honour, but a beginning for creativity. Indeed, after that, I continued participating in Gulf events, praise be to God.”
People Who Made a Difference
A successful journey is never built alone. It is shaped by people who leave their mark through support, guidance, and inspiration.
Speaking about those who influenced her journey, she says:
“Many people supported me at the beginning of my journey. The first was poet Rashid Shar who encouraged young people to read. Media professional and poet Khalid Al Dhannhani supported us through guidance. Media professional and poet Eidha bin Masoud was like a spiritual father in literature and poetry. Media professional and poet Khalid Al Muayhan was a compass in poetry and a mentor in the field. I also cannot forget my sister Maryam Al Naqbi, the poet and inspiration in cultural work.”
A Message to the Girls of the UAE
Drawing from her experience, Aisha shares a clear message with every Emirati girl seeking to achieve her ambitions and create her own impact:
“Your creativity is part of your nation’s image. Be sincere in your work and step forward into the world. The Emirati woman has always been creative and distinguished.”
Reading… An Investment in the Future
Among the projects and ambitions she believes in is promoting a culture of reading among younger generations, as she considers it one of the most important keys to building personality and awareness.
Regarding her future plans, she says:
“I want to work on educating children to love reading, because reading is an important factor in shaping personality.”

Aisha believes Emirati women represent a true example of this belonging. She concludes:
“The Emirati woman expresses her love for her country by reaching the highest levels of education and contributing to fields such as space, artificial intelligence, and medicine.
Through professional excellence, she proves her loyalty through dedication to work and by leading sovereign and diplomatic positions with competence.
Through cultural creativity, she carries the UAE’s identity and authentic values to the world through her poems, writings, and meaningful media messages.
Through raising generations, she plants the values of tradition, loyalty, and love for the nation in her children, allowing the journey of giving to continue from one generation to another.”

البدايات الأولى وصناعة الحلم

منذ سنوات الطفولة الأولى، وجدت عائشة نفسها قريبة من الكلمة والصورة الشعرية، فكانت الكتابة نافذتها الخاصة للتعبير عن أفكارها ومشاعرها، قبل أن تتحول تلك الموهبة إلى مسيرة أدبية وإعلامية متكاملة جمعت بين الشعر والإعلام وصناعة المحتوى، تقول: “بدأتُ كتابة الشعر في سن صغيرة. كنتُ أرى العالم من خلال الصور والكلمات. كنتُ أكتب خواطري على ورق صغير، أصبحتُ فيما بعد شاعرة تكتب قصائد تنبض بالحياة، انتقلتُ إلى دراسة الشعر في اكاديمية الشعر. بدأتُ مسيرتي كمذيعة ومعدة برامج. تعلمتُ كيف أنقل مشاعر البشر وصوتهم بكل صدق ووضوح، صانعة محتوى وحساباتي موثقه عبر العمل والتسويق للشركات

الجبل… مصدر الإلهام الأول

لكل مبدع مصدر إلهام يرافقه منذ البدايات، وبالنسبة لها كان للجبل حضور خاص في تشكيل شخصيتها ونظرتها للحياة، حيث استمدت منه معاني الشموخ والثبات والإصرار، وعن سر اختيارها لمسارها المهني تقول: “أنا ابنة بيئة جبليه لطالما نظرت الى الجبل بهيبة وشموخه العالي رغم كل الظروف، مرت سنوات طويلة من الإبداع والعمل المستمر. أثبتُّ فيها أن الكلمة الصادقة تصل إلى القلوب دائماً، دمجتُ بين موهبتي الشعرية وعملي الإعلامي. أصبحتُ أقدم برامج ثقافية وأدبية، قدمتُ العديد من الأمسيات الشعرية. شاركتُ في برامج حوارية هادفة استخدمتُ صوتي وقلمي لدعم قضايا المجتمع

محطات خالدة في الذاكرة

تظل بعض الإنجازات والمواقف الإنسانية محفورة في الوجدان مهما تعاقبت السنوات، لأنها تمثل لحظات فارقة في مسيرة الإنسان وتجربته، وحول أبرز المحطات التي تعتز بها تقول: “محطات التكريم في الكويت في مملكة البحرين في سلطنة عمان وفي تونس كلها خالده في ذاكرتي، مشاركتي في فعالية النزيل الخليجي الموحد في الشارقة ألهمتني رؤية نزيل محكوم عليه بالسجن ويعتذر من أهله فتأتي مفاجأة المسامحة ويتم إخباره بانه اليوم حر. تأثرت حقا في هذه اللحظة

التحديات وصناعة الطريق

النجاح لا يأتي دون تحديات، خصوصاً عندما يختار الإنسان أن يشق طريقاً مختلفاً عن المألوف. وقد واجهت تحدياتها بثقة وإصرار مستمدة من دعم أسرتها وإيمانها برسالتها، وتتحدث عن تلك المرحلة قائلة: “كما ذكرت سابقا أني ابنة بيئة جبلية فكان خروج المرأه من هذه البيئة إلى الاعلام والتصوير صعب لكن مع تكريمات قادتنا لي في المحافل الوطنية كانت امي ترافقني، وكان أبي يرافقني والحمدلله حظيت بلحظات فخر واعتزاز

وجوه صنعت الفرق

لا تُبنى مسيرة النجاح بمعزل عن الأشخاص الذين يتركون بصمتهم في حياة الإنسان، سواء بالدعم أو التوجيه أو الإلهام، وعن الشخصيات التي كان لها أثر في مسيرتها تقول: “كثر هم الأشخاص الذين دعموني في بداية مسيرتي، أولهم الشاعر راشد شرار الذي كان يحث الشباب على القراءة، والإعلامي الشاعر خالد الظنحاني كان يدعمنا بالتوجيه، والإعلامي الشاعر عيضة بن مسعود لطالما كان أبا روحيا في الأدب والشعر، والإعلامي الشاعر خالد المويهان كان بوصلة الشعر ومعلم التوجيه في الساحة، ولا أنسى أختي مريم النقبي الشاعرة والملهمة في العمل الثقافي
