I am Muna Alhammadi, an Emirati woman who believes that a person should not be measured only by what they achieve for themselves, but by the impact they leave on others. My journey began in government service, shaped by years of experience, challenges, and lessons that contributed to forming my professional identity. Over time, I discovered my passion for training, development, and innovation, becoming a certified trainer, an ICF-certified coach, a management consultant, and a public speaker. Today, I continue my academic journey by pursuing a Master’s degree in Media Leadership and Communication Strategies, because I believe that learning is a journey that never ends. I always like to summarize my philosophy in a phrase that is very close to my heart: “A person is ultimately the impact they leave behind… so make your legacy a beautiful one.”

My Passion for People, Development, and Innovation Led Me Toward Knowledge and Impact

What has inspired me most is my belief in people and their ability to grow and transform. I have always found myself drawn to spaces that bring together people, development, innovation, and the creation of meaningful impact. Through my professional experience, I realized that I did not want my role to be limited to simply completing tasks; I wanted to add value, share knowledge, and help others discover their capabilities and professional identity. My decision to study Media Leadership and Communication Strategies is an extension of this passion, because media and communication today represent a powerful force in shaping awareness and creating social impact.

2017 Was a Challenge That Led Me to Rediscover Myself and Open a New Path

I consider the most important turning point in my life to have been not an achievement, but a challenge. In 2017, I went through a professional experience that caused me to lose part of my passion, but it also pushed me to rediscover myself. From that stage, I began a different journey in training, coaching, innovation, and personal development. Among the achievements I am proud of is entering the fields of training and public speaking, participating in innovation initiatives within the workplace, and entering the world of authorship through my book, “From Mona’s Heart to the Sky.” I am also proud to continue pursuing my Master’s degree today, because I see every academic and professional stage as an extension of an ongoing journey of growth and self-development.

Challenges Taught Me That We Can Always Redirect Our Path

The greatest challenges for me were the stages when I felt that I was far from where I envisioned myself professionally. I learned that although a person may not be able to control every circumstance, they can decide what they will do with those circumstances. Therefore, I began investing more in myself through learning, training, obtaining professional certifications, and developing my skills. More importantly, I changed the way I viewed challenges; I no longer saw them as the end of the road, but as a stage that could lead me toward a better path. Sometimes, the very challenge we believe is holding us back is the same challenge that redirects us toward our true purpose.

Emirati Women Today Are True Partners in Shaping the Future

Emirati women today are no longer simply seeking opportunities to prove their presence; they have become true partners in shaping the future. We see Emirati women in leadership, space, science, media, economics, innovation, government and private-sector work, and across every field of development. What distinguishes the Emirati women’s experience is that their success has not been separate from family, society, and the nation; rather, it has developed within a national system that believed in their capabilities and provided opportunities for education, empowerment, and participation. I believe our responsibility today is to transform this empowerment into an impact that continues for generations to come.

The Impact We Create in Others Is One of the Things That Inspires Me Most

The moments that remain most vivid in my memory are not always the awards or certificates, but the moments when someone tells me, after a workshop or a meeting, that a word I said changed the way they viewed themselves or encouraged them to take a step they had been hesitant to take. These moments always remind me that true impact may not be visible at the moment it is created. A simple word, an act of support, or knowledge we share with someone may become the beginning of a major transformation in their life.

My Country, My Family, My Experiences, and Self-Belief Have Been the Foundations of My Journey

After the grace of God, I consider my family, my country, and the opportunities provided to me by the UAE to be among the most important sources of support throughout my journey. Every person who believed in my abilities, every experience I went through, and even the challenges I faced have played a role in shaping who I am. I also believe that a person must be their own source of support; external support is important, but the true decision to continue, rise again, and develop oneself begins from within.

My message to every Emirati girl and young woman is: Do not look for someone else’s version of success… create your own. Know who you are, what your values are, and what you want to contribute to this nation. Invest in your education, your personality, and your professional identity, and do not be afraid of small beginnings or changing direction. Jobs, positions, and circumstances may change, but what truly remains is your identity and the impact you have created.

My ambition is to continue building my path in professional identity, creativity, innovation, and professional excellence, and to transform my experience and knowledge into programs and initiatives that contribute to developing people, government employees, and young people. I also aspire to continue my academic and media journey, as well as my work in authorship, and to build a broader intellectual and professional footprint both within the UAE and beyond. My goal is not simply to add another achievement to my résumé, but to create an impact that can continue long after me.

Within my family, it means that my success should be a source of strength and support for my family, and that I pass on to the next generation the values of education, ambition, and responsibility. Professionally, it means continuing to learn, develop, and innovate, and ensuring that my presence in any position is connected to genuine value and meaningful impact. Nationally, it means giving back to my country through hard work and achievement, and representing Emirati women in a way that reflects the trust placed in us by our leadership. أكثر ما ألهمني هو إيماني بالإنسان وقدرته على التطور والتغيير. كنت دائمًا أجد نفسي في المساحات التي تجمع بين الإنسان، والتطوير، والابتكار، وصناعة الأثر. ومع تجربتي المهنية، أدركت أنني لا أريد أن يكون دوري مجرد إنجاز المهام، بل أن أضيف قيمة، وأنقل المعرفة، وأساعد الآخرين على اكتشاف قدراتهم وهويتهم المهنية. أما اختياري لدراسة قيادة الإعلام واستراتيجيات الاتصال، فجاء امتدادًا لهذا الشغف؛ لأن الإعلام والاتصال اليوم يمثلان قوة حقيقية في صناعة الوعي والتأثير المجتمعي

عام 2017 كان تحديًا أعاد اكتشاف نفسي وفتح أمامي طريقًا جديدًا

أعتبر أن أهم نقطة تحول في حياتي لم تكن إنجازًا بقدر ما كانت تحديًا؛ فقد مررت في عام 2017 بتجربة مهنية أفقدتني جزءًا من شغفي، لكنها دفعتني إلى إعادة اكتشاف نفسي من جديد، ومن هذه المرحلة بدأت رحلة مختلفة في التدريب والكوتشنج والابتكار والتطوير الذاتي. ومن الإنجازات التي أعتز بها دخولي مجال التدريب والتحدث الجماهيري، ومشاركتي في مبادرات الابتكار في بيئة العمل، وكذلك دخولي عالم التأليف من خلال كتابي «منى القلب إلى السماء». وأعتز اليوم أيضًا بمواصلة دراستي للماجستير؛ لأنني أرى كل مرحلة علمية أو مهنية امتدادًا لرحلة بناء مستمرة

التحديات علّمتني أن الإنسان يستطيع أن يعيد توجيه طريقه

أكبر التحديات بالنسبة لي كانت المراحل التي شعرت فيها بأنني بعيدة عن المكان الذي أرى نفسي فيه مهنيًا. تعلمت أن الإنسان قد لا يستطيع التحكم في كل الظروف، لكنه يستطيع أن يقرر ماذا سيفعل بهذه الظروف. لذلك بدأت أستثمر أكثر في نفسي من خلال التعلم، والتدريب، والحصول على الشهادات المهنية، وتطوير مهاراتي. والأهم من ذلك أنني غيّرت نظرتي إلى التحديات؛ فلم أعد أراها نهاية الطريق، بل مرحلة قد تقودني إلى طريق أفضل. وأحيانًا يكون التحدي الذي نظنه يعطلنا هو نفسه الذي يعيد توجيهنا نحو رسالتنا الحقيقية

المرأة الإماراتية اليوم شريك حقيقي في صناعة المستقبل

المرأة الإماراتية اليوم لم تعد تبحث فقط عن فرصة لإثبات وجودها، بل أصبحت شريكًا حقيقيًا في صناعة المستقبل. نراها في القيادة، والفضاء، والعلوم، والإعلام، والاقتصاد، والابتكار، والعمل الحكومي والخاص، وفي مختلف ميادين التنمية. وما يميز تجربة المرأة في دولة الإمارات أن نجاحها لم يكن منفصلًا عن الأسرة والمجتمع والوطن، بل جاء ضمن منظومة وطنية آمنت بقدراتها، ووفرت لها فرص التعليم والتمكين والمشاركة. وأرى أن مسؤوليتنا اليوم هي أن نحول هذا التمكين إلى أثر يستمر للأجيال القادمة

الأثر الذي يصنعه الإنسان في الآخرين هو من أكثر ما يلهمني

أكثر المواقف التي تبقى في ذاكرتي ليست دائمًا الجوائز أو الشهادات، وإنما تلك اللحظات التي يخبرني فيها شخص، بعد ورشة أو لقاء، بأن كلمة قلتها غيّرت نظرته إلى نفسه أو شجعته على اتخاذ خطوة كان مترددًا فيها. هذه المواقف تذكرني دائمًا بأن الأثر الحقيقي قد لا نراه في لحظته، فربما تصبح كلمة بسيطة، أو موقف دعم، أو معرفة شاركناها مع شخص، بداية تغيير كبير في حياته

الوطن والأسرة والتجارب والإيمان بالنفس كانت ركائز أساسية في رحلتي

بعد توفيق الله، أعتبر أن أسرتي ووطني والفرص التي قدمتها لي دولة الإمارات كانت من أهم عوامل الدعم في رحلتي. كما أن كل شخص آمن بقدراتي، وكل تجربة مررت بها، وحتى التحديات، كان لها دور في تشكيل شخصيتي. وأؤمن أيضًا بأن الإنسان يجب أن يكون داعمًا لنفسه؛ فالدعم الخارجي مهم، لكن القرار الحقيقي بالاستمرار والنهوض وتطوير الذات يبدأ من الداخل

رسالتي لكل فتاة وشابة إماراتية: لا تبحثي عن نسخة من نجاح شخص آخر… اصنعي نسختكِ أنتِ. اعرفي من أنتِ، وما قيمكِ، وما الذي تريدين أن تضيفيه إلى هذا الوطن. استثمري في علمكِ، وشخصيتكِ، وهويتكِ المهنية، ولا تخافي من البدايات الصغيرة أو من تغيير الطريق. فقد تتغير الوظيفة والمنصب والظروف، لكن ما يبقى فعلًا هو هويتكِ والأثر الذي صنعتِه

لا تجعلي القوة مرتبطة بالصوت الأعلى أو بالمنصب الأكبر. القوة الحقيقية تكمن في وعيكِ، وقدرتكِ على النهوض بعد التحديات، واستمراركِ في التعلم، والأثر الذي تتركينه في أسرتكِ وعملكِ ومجتمعكِ. كوني أقوى بقيمكِ، وأفضل بعلمكِ، وأعمق بأثركِ. ولا تنتظري أن يخبركِ أحد بأنكِ قادرة؛ ابدئي، وتعلمي، وطوري نفسكِ، واجعلي إنجازكِ يتحدث عنكِ
